Local December job numbers mixed
A report on jobs in northeast Wisconsin had some mixed results.
Preliminary numbers from the department of workforce development show the Appleton metro added 1,000 private and public sector jobs last month. The Oshkosh-Neenah metro lost 600 positions, and Green Bay was down 500.
Overall, the private sector gained about 4,500 jobs across the state, but the public sector dropped 3,200.
