State could have bigger budget surplus
Projections from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau show Wisconsin's budget surplus should be larger than previously thought.
The report from the non-partisan agency puts the surplus at $485 million, and that's up from the $348 million projection that Governor Walker's administration made last November.
The larger surplus means Walker and lawmakers will have more money to work with when they put together the next state budget.
