F.C. Greenways looks to extend II Trail east
A group hopes to fill what it believes is a gap in the trail system, in the Neenah area.
Fox Cities Greenways president Tom Walsh says they want to extend the II Trail, to the east. He says it would connect to the Lake Street bike lanes.
Right now, the II Trail ends, just west of Highway 41, and Walsh says that's a "choke point" for bicyclists and pedestrians.
He says they hope to work with local governments this year, and the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, to look at options for routes.
