Pronunciation website debuts new map
There's a new way to hear the correct pronunciations of communities, and counties, around Wisconsin.
The state cartographer's office partnered with the website "Miss Pronouncer" to create a point-and-click, online map.
State cartographer Howard Veregin says they already have more than 1,700 locations on the map, and they might expand it. He says they could include lakes, forests, and other landmarks.
Veregin says the partnership makes sense.
