Child with lighter sparks G.B. apartment fire
The Green Bay fire department says a child was playing with a lighter yesterday, and sparked an apartment fire on the city's eastside.
Crews were called to a four-unit building in the 500 block of Hartung Street, around 10 a.m.
They were able to contain the fire to a single apartment, and damage is estimated at $30,000. A cat died in the fire.
