'War Horse' coming to PAC in June
A play that's based on a book. and an Oscar-nominated movie
, will make its first stop in Wisconsin this summer, at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
The downtown Appleton venue will host War Horse for seven shows, in June, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
PAC spokeswoman Tara Brzozowski says they're one of the stops on the first national tour of the play. He says it will be the 22nd show to make its "Wisconsin premiere" at the PAC.
War Horse will be at the PAC from June 25-30.
It won five Tony Awards in 2011, including for Best Play. Steven Spielberg's movie version was nominated for Best Picture, a year ago.
