Facebook case puts cyberbullying in spotlight
The Green Bay Packers are coming to the defense of a former cheerleader who was cyber-bullied on an unofficial Chicago Bears Facebook fan page, and an Appleton school official says they try to teach their students to be proactive when they discover someone is being bullied.
Assistant superintendent Val Dreier says she's seeing a backlash against bullying, as students become more educated.
The Packers are urging fans to rally behind Kaitlyn Collins, the former UW-Green Bay student who was the target of unflattering posts earlier this week. Team officials say the online commentary was extremely offensive.
