Professor: Obama address too combative
President Obama outlined a wish list of new programs in last night's State of the Union address, and threatened to use executive orders in some areas, if he doesn't get what he wants.
A local political science professor says he's not sure how effective that strategy will be. Lawrence University professor Arnold Shober says the president won't likely attain all of his goals.
Shober says the president was at times combative over spending cuts and tax increases, and he doubts that will help the country avoid sequestration cuts next month. He says right now it appears that those cuts will happen.
