B&G Club would benefit budget proposal
The Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley would get a boost, from a proposal in Governor Walker's budget.
Chief Professional Officer Greg Lemke-Rochon says the governor wants to increase funding for after-school programs, across the state, by $3 million. He says that will help provide more access.
He says they could find out next month how much of the funding will come to club in the Fox Valley.
Clubs around the state are also starting a fundraising drive to match the state's $3 million contribution.
