Kaufert: Interchange could spur development
A local lawmaker says keeping the Highway 41 interchange 
project, at Highways 10-441, on schedule should speed development west of Highway 41, near Menasha.
Rep. Dean Kaufert says he's pleased that Governor Walker included funding for the project in his proposed budget, because a new interchange would likely bring many businesses to that area.
The Neenah Republican says he met with Governor Walker to lobby for the project, after DOT officials recommended last year to delay it. Kaufert says a delay would send the wrong message to people in the Fox Cities.
