Comments led to break in murder case
A 53-year-old Appleton woman is in custody on a $1
million bond, for the murder of her partner, more than five years ago.
Dianna Siveny's court appearance this morning came one week after a Minnesota woman reportedly told police Siveny's daughter Kandi shot and killed 30-year-old Lara Plamann, in Greenville, in October of 2007.
34-year-old Kandi Siveny and 38-year-old Rosie Campbell are also charged with first-degree intentional homicide, after they were arrested last week in Minnesota.
Court records say Campbell told investigators Dianna Siveny offered them $5,000 to kill Plamann, because she had been cheating on Siveny.
Records say Campbell admitted to driving with Kandi Siveny, from Minnesota, to kill Plamann. She says she decided she couldn't go through with it, once they got to Plamann's house on W. Wisconsin Avenue. She says she saw Kandi shoot Plamann, in a shed on the property.
Authorities are working to bring Kandi and Campbell to Wisconsin, to face murder charges.
