Prosecutors: Woman revealed how Plamann died

One of the defendants in a five-year-old murder case provided a first-hand account of what she says happened to a 30-year-old Greenville woman.

Prosecutors are charging three women in connection with the shooting death of Lara Plamann, and investigators believe her former partner planned to have the two others kill Plamann.

Court records say 38-year-old Rosie Campbell of St. Paul, Minn. met with Plamann's partner, 53-year-old Dianna Siveny, and Siveny's 34-year-old daughter, Kandi, several days before Plamann was found dead, in October of 2007.

They say Campbell told investigators last week that she watched Kandi shoot Plamann in a large shed, next to Plamann's home, after Campbell chickened out.

She said Dianna was angry that Plamann had cheated on her, and they were told to make it look like an accident, get it done, and wear gloves. Records say Campbell thought she was going to get $5,000. She reportedly told investigators that she rode with Kandi, from Minnesota to Plamann's house, and they were using meth the entire way.

Campbell said she later received $300 to keep quiet, and she also got drugs and more money from Kandi.
