Fox Cities Reads focuses on nature

The importance of nature will be the main focus of this year's Fox Cities Reads event.

Organizer Brian Kopetsky says this year's author is Richard Louv, and libraries across the Fox Cities are stocking his books Last Child in the Woods and Nature Principal for the community read. He says the first book deals with the impact on children, if they don't do things, outside.

He says Nature Principal focuses on how the disconnect from nature impacts society.

Louv will make several appearances at libraries in the Fox Cities in late April, as part of the Fox Cities Book Festival.
