Elizabeth Smart to speak at FVTC
The survivor of a well-known kidnapping case will speak at Fox Valley Technical College next week.
Elizabeth Smart will take part in a presentation on the Grand Chute campus, next Wednesday night, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is open to the public, but space is limited.
Smart was abducted in June of 2002, and she was rescued nine months later. She's going to be in the Appleton area for Fox Valley Tech's national training conference on responding to missing and unidentified person cases.
