United Way provides mental health grant
Efforts to provide better access to children's
mental health services are getting a boost.
The United Way of the Fox Cities announced a $100,000 grant to Catulpa Health, this morning.
President Peter Kelly says they realize they need to pay more attention to that issue. He says there's a shortage of psychiatric services, especially for children. He says they're also backing groups that provide support.
The United Way presented its annual report to the community, during a breakfast meeting at the Radisson Paper Valley hotel in downtown Appleton.
Kelly says they're pleased with what they accomplished in 2012. He says they were able to raise more than $7.3 million, during their annual campaign.
