G.B. celebrating St. Patrick's Day
A group in Green Bay hopes its St. Patrick's Day
festivities will grow again this year.
Jon Kolb of the Shamrock Club says they're holding their fourth annual parade, in the downtown, along with some events on the City Deck. He says it's a family event.
Kolb says the parade will start at 10:30 a.m, at the corner of Washington Street and Crooks Avenue, and they'll have performances by Green Bay Notre Dame's marching band, and Irish dancers.
In honor of the upcoming holiday, Mayor Jim Schmitt temporarily renamed Admiral Flatley Court in the downtown, O'Flatley Court.
