Medical condition may have led to fatal crash
An Appleton man was killed in a crash on Highway 41 South yesterday morning.
The Hobart-Lawrence police department is looking into whether 70-year-old Donald Lieberger was suffering from a medical condition when his car went into a ditch, around 10:15 a.m.
Chief Randy Bani says the car went through a highway fence and hit a tree, near Highway S in the town of Lawrence. Lieberger was pronounced dead at a hospital.
