British Open

Wednesday, Jul, 15 2015

No Rory, no problem.

The British Open begins at St. Andrews this Thursday, and without it's defending champion.  With Rory McIlroy's bum ankle, the field just lost a solid contender to Jordan Speith's run at the Grand Slam.

Catch updates from the British Open weekday mornings on WHBY, and in the afternoon on both WHBY and WSCO-The Score.

My pick: I'll say Dustin Johnson bounces back from the US Open and gets his first major.

Football is coming!

Tuesday, Jul, 14 2015

Imagine if you will.....football begins in just over two weeks!

The Packers report later this month, with day one of training camp on July 30th, and the first pre-season game at New England is on Thursday, August 13th. Many pundits and predictors have the Pack as either favorites or strong contenders for the Super Bowl, and rightfully so.

WHBY will be your voice for Packersfootball, Titletown Reports daily, In the Huddle with Justin Hull and special Packer guests and much more!

It's coming.....

Mile of Music Courtyard Concerts

Wednesday, Jul, 1 2015

Had Mile of Music's Cory Chisel on the WHBY Morning show today to talk about the Courtyard Concert series at the Radisson Paper Valley, held every Wednesday night during the summer.

The shows are free, with drinks and food to purchase. I did give away a front row table to Jan from New London, who gets to bring 3 friends and enjoy Andrew Combs perform tonight in the Radisson's courtyard.
Listen every week for a chance to win the table, along with some surprise goodies as well!

And, don't forget that Mile 3 is coming up August 6-9.

U. S. Open

Monday, Jun, 22 2015

Congrats Jordan Speith.  He earned it,....hung in there, made a few less mistakes than the other guys, and was fortunate that Dustin Johnson could NOT make a putt down the line.  On to the British Open at St. Andrews and a course that's actually a links track, instead of whatever they tried to make Chambers Bay.

A tip of the cap to Louis Oosthuisen, who nearly came back from an opening 77. That was remarkable--when most other guys would have checked out, he "found" the course and starting making birdies instead of bogies.

Hope you had a good Fathers Day!!
