What's around the corner?>>

Not so fast snow shovel breath!

One of the big so-called 'experts' on making winter predictions says we here in the upper Midwest will be in for another winter of below-average snowfall.

And here's something related to that topic that I'll be discussing on the PhilCast today.

The Weather Channel will start naming big winter storms this season, just as is the case with hurricanes. Interesting theory behind why they are doing this.

We'll discuss.

Attack of the 'Killer Pigs" ?

Sure they seem harmless and who doesn't think bacon makes everything taste better?

But on the Tuesday PhilCast one of the stories I'll have is about how some pigs ate a farmer.

Now as if that's not bad enough, the part that really freaks me out is the fact that they think there's a chance that the pigs not only ate the farmer, but perhaps killed him too! Yikes.

October arrives!
Back at it for a full week of the PhilCast.

Today from 3-4 Rich Ratay joins me for Pack Yak as we go over a close-call win for the Green and Gold. I've got some issues with the refs (again) and a question for Rich to clarify about something that happened during that game involving the ref that you may not have heard about.
