Remember when these rubber bracelets were all the rage? 7-time Tour de France winner and cancer beater Lance Armstrong made them a rallying calling card in the fight against the ugly disease.Now, take 'Tour de France' winner from Mr. Armstrong's title...stripped by officials who govern the sport and say he cheated. His own former teammates and friends testified against him it turns out, according to evidence released this week.
So where does that leave the future of his foundation?
Are people less-likely now to donate and take part because Livestrong was all based on a lie? I mean, he DID still beat cancer and all.
This is tough for me personally too because as a cyclist I for years followed Lance's career with an amazement at his accomplishments. And some of those former teammates (still friends I wonder?) are still racing and have been suspended now because of their involvement in all this.
