Harmonica here?
We've got a guest coming in this afternoon for the segment right after the 3:30 news. There he is at the Grand Canyon.
First blush you might think that comedian Richard Lewis is stopping by, right?
Wrong.
That's Robert Bonfiglio, renowned for his talents on the harmonica, not exactly the first instrument you think of when you think about the symphony.
Robert will be the special featured artist performing with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra at the PAC Saturday.
Learn more about him and the gig on the PhilCast this afternoon. I hope he brings his harp!
.....
Tomorrow is the big day, as we kick off sales of our charity DVD, "The PhilCast; Third Time's a Charm" with a live show at the Red Ox Seafood and Steakhouse in Appleton. All proceeds will go to the Thompson Community Center of Appleton, as we give back something to the community throughout the holiday season.
Try a special "Philsh Fry" while you are there because $5.00 from every dine-in or take-out Philsh Fry will also be donated to the TCC. They'll be serving up the special all day and all night at the Red Ox. We'll be there from 3-6 live.
Reggie will be there selling the DVD's and some PhilCast gear as well. While supplies last we'll throw in a copy of last year's DVD and a PhilCast show stock certificate to those who make the $15.00 donation to the cause.
Mrs. Biggest Name (a.k.a. hurricane Sandy) will be there too. Pippa will do her ReciPIPPA the Week live as well.
Tony Gonzales, the director of the Thompson Community Center will stop by, as will Brenda "Big B" from Bulk Priced Foods, Handy Andy, Kris Kraft and more.
See you there tomorrow!
