Police say the victims of a double murder in Grand Chute were the suspect’s grandparents.
Seventy-four-year-old Dennis Kraus and his 73-year-old wife, Letha, were killed in a home on W. Edgewood Drive, north of Appleton.
Officer Travis Waas says the suspect, 17-year-old Alexander Kraus, was also at the house. Police went there, after a 911 call around 11:30 a.m. yesterday.
Kraus is a junior at Neenah High School.
Police are recommending that prosecutors charge Kraus with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide. He’s expected to make his first court appearance tomorrow afternoon.
