A local 11-year-old 4H club member is helping the family of two missing brothers from the Seymour area.
Investigators believe 35-year-old Nick Diemel and 24-year-old Justin Diemel are dead. The brothers went missing on July 21st while on a business trip in Missouri.
Mason Gorecki sold a 246-pound pig at the Outagamie County Fair’s livestock auction over the weekend. He’s donating the money to a fund for the two men. He says it was important because he couldn’t imagine losing a member of his family.
25-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson is in custody. A judge is denying him bond. He’s charged with taking the rental truck the two brothers were using. Nelson’s farm is in Braymer about 60 miles northeast of Kansas City.
