Appleton police and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department worked together on a prostitution sting at massage parlors.
They shut down six of them over the past six months.
Appleton Officer Meghan Cash says investigators found workers were offering illegal services for an additional fee. She says some of them were living at the businesses.
Cash says they started investigating, after getting tips from concerned people and legitimate massage therapists. She isn’t saying how many people were arrested.
They’re also not releasing the names of the businesses that were shut down.
