The Fox Valley Memory Project is now offering therapy with horses for people dealing with dementia.
The nonprofit is holding its first Memory Cafe at Beaming in the Neenah area Saturday.
Katie Samuelson of Beaming says it can have a huge effect on the brain. The Memory Cafe won’t involve any horse riding, but people will be able to feed them and listen to their heartbeats.
The memory project puts on a number of activities, including events with music.
