Colleges in northeast Wisconsin are trying to raise their enrollment by changing requirements for high school seniors, and offering virtual tours.
So far, UW-Green Bay administrators say their numbers are holding steady during the coronavirus pandemic.
Two local technical colleges are doing better than that.
Kim Olson at Fox Valley Technical College says their numbers for the summer are up about 12 percent. She says students are especially interested in taking online classes.
Cindy Dahlman is an admissions advisor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, and she says their application numbers are higher than a year ago at this time.
