A study shows how much every Wisconsin county is losing while the “safer at home” order is in place.
Badger Institute spokesman Michael Jahr says University of Illinois-Chicago Professor Andrew Hanson also ran the gross domestic product numbers for the entire state. He says we are losing about $179 million a day. That’s $5.3 billion a month and over $10 billion over two months.
Hanson’s study found Outagamie County is losing $6 million a day in gross domestic product and Winnebago is losing $6.5 million every day. Calumet is down $1.1 million per day.
