Group makes video celebrating 19th Amendment

A local video celebrating 100 years since women were given the right to vote is now online.

Marti Hemwall is the co-chair of the Fox Valley 19th Amendment Centennial Coalition. She says they put it together, instead of having an in-person event. She describes it as a fast-paced combination of people reading memorable quotes, voter information, and a lot of music.

Hemwall says some of that music was performed by local female artists. She describes the hour-long video as non-partisan, and inclusive.
