The director for the Wisconsin Elections Commission says there weren’t any absentee ballots in the three trays of mail that were along a road in Greenville last week.
Meagan Wolfe says they were told there were no Wisconsin ballots, and the U.S. Postal Service is investigating.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department reported last week the mail was on Highway 96, by Highway CB. The three trays were supposed to be on the way to a post office, and deputies turned everything over to a postal inspector.
