United Way’s 211 connects callers to a multitude of resources in the Fox Valley. The need for that connection has greatly increased since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. United Way Fox Cities shares that since March 13,000 calls have been answered which is more than the 2-1-1 call center operated by United Way Fox Cities would receive in a year (12,000). We’re hearing from Lisa Smith, United Way’s 211 manager to further learn about where the need is focused and how United Way is continuing to support those who call.
