Two people are dead following the crash of a small plane near Janesville. The control tower at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport lost contact with the plane around 9:20 this morning. The wreckage was found upside down in a creek a few miles from the airport. The names of the victims have not been released. The plane is registered to an owner in Appleton.
