A meat packing plant in Green Bay is confirming the company was the target of an organized cyber security attack.
IT officials at JBS say they became aware of the attack on Sunday. Some of the servers which support its North American and Australian systems were impacted. Officials say it’s going to take time to resolve the issue which could result in some delay for customers and suppliers.
The Green Bay facility will not have production today. It’s unclear if that’s directly related to the cyber security attack.
