A non-partisan group thinks lawmakers in Wisconsin have a once-in-a-generation chance to address some longstanding challenges.
Wisconsin Policy Forum researcher Jason Stein says the state is projected to take in over $4 billion more over the next two years than was expected in January.
He feels the money could be used to expand broadband in rural and urban areas, reform the school funding formula while possibly cutting property taxes and strengthen the states unemployment fund so were ready for the next recession.
