Menasha officials are frustrated with the slow pace of redevelopment at the former City Hall building. Developer Steven Roark purchased the building at 140 Main Street in 2019 with plans to turn it into a mixed use facility. But only the Menasha Market takes up some of the ground floor–and Alderperson Rebecca Nichols wants to know why nothing else has been done. Roark says it’s a bad time for commercial real estate in the area. Roark adds that the city itself should be helping him to market the 140 Main property.
