Congressman Glenn Grothman claims critical race theory is already being taught in Wisconsin schools. In a speech on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Grothman told a story of a class he says is at a school in the sixth district.
“In the high school, a teacher educated the class which was devoted to racism, mentioned that in the past year four-percent of the kids in this high school were black and 20-percent of the kids arrested were black,” Representative Grothman said. “The teacher told the kids, of course, or implied to the kids, this was result of racism. We educate people that if they are arrested for drugs, or fighting, what have you, it’s not a matter of you did something wrong. It’s a matter of racism.”
Representative Grothman did not identify the high school where he says it took place.
