Unemployment is holding steady in the Fox Valley. The state Department of Workforce Development reports the jobless rate for the Appleton area in August was 3.3%–the same as it was in July. Unemployment in the Oshkosh-Neenah area increased by one-tenth to 3.4%. Green Bay’s jobless rate held steady last month at 3.6%.
