An accidental shooting sends a Door County boy to a Green Bay hospital with a leg wound. The Door County Sheriff’s Office says multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a reported shooting around 7:00 AM Sunday at a Town of Nasewaupee home. The nine-year-old boy was found laying on a couch with a gunshot wound to his leg. Investigators say a 45-year-old man was attempting to clear a rifle when it discharged. The case is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Wisconsin Department Natural Resources. The names of the child and the man are not being released at this time.
