Over the years, thousands of families have turned to the incredible teams at the NICU at Children’s Hospital-Fox Valley, to help care for the tiniest of patients. Babies who are born early or born with health complications or challenges have been cared for by nurses and physicians with the biggest of hearts
We have had NICU services in Neenah for 50 years! The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit opened at Theda Clark in 1971. Children’s Hospital-Fox Valley took over operation of the unit in 2002.
We’re highlighting an amazing story, about the youngest twins to survive at Children’s Hospital- Fox Valley, the Stadler Twins (Kathryn and Jacob) who were born on August 9th, 2007. Parents Kristin and Eric Stadler welcomed the twins at just 22 weeks, 6 days old.
We spoke with Eric Stadler, along with Jessica McDonald a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and Dawn Theobald RN at Children’s Wisconsin Fox Valley; who were part of of the team caring for the twins in 2007.
We also learned about the holiday season at the Historic Hearthstone House Museum in Appleton.
