Appleton Police release details on a pair of recent drunk driving crashes. An officer had parked his squad car at the Highway 441 and East College Avenue interchange on December 19th when it was struck by 27-year old Appleton resident that had reportedly been drinking. The officer was not hurt. The next day, an alleged intoxicated driver took off from a gas station with the hose still attached to the S-U-V. The 30-year old from New London eventually crashed into another car at West College Avenue and North Lynndale Drive. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
