The Oshkosh Corporation is confident they can handle possible changes to their massive contract with the United States Postal Service. This week, the Environmental Protection Agency asked the Biden administration to put a hold on the six-billion dollar contract because only ten-percent of the 160-thousand vehicles would be fully-electric–with the rest burning gasoline. The E-P-A said that would contribute to climate change. In a written statement, Oshkosh Defense President John Bryant says his division could build all of the new delivery vehicles with electric drive systems–as the chassis is designed to handle it.
