An 18-year-old Menasha man is dead after being hit by a car on Highway 441 south in the Appleton area Thursday morning.
Officers were called to an area east of Oneida Street just before 3 a.m. Thursday. The Wisconsin State Patrol says a 22-year-old man from Little Chute driving south on the highway hit the Menasha man who was walking north. The 18-year-old man was taken to an Appleton hospital where he died. The driver wasn’t hurt.
The highway reopened around 6 a.m. Thursday.
