SEYMOUR, Wis. — Dennis Rohr loves teaching science at Seymour High School and that now drawing statewide recognition.
Rohr is the winner of the 2022 Excellence in Science Teaching Award by the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers.
The award honors his contributions to improving science education. Rohr, however, believes when it comes to science there’s no “I” in team.
While Rohr is honored by the award, he says the real reward is watching students share his love of science.
Rohr has been very active with the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers during his 21-year career at Seymour High School.
