Appleton, Wis. — The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region has connected with a Texas Community Foundation to support the Uvalde community.
On Tuesday, a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
In response to that, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region has partnered with the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to open a community response fund. The fund will support the families of the victims and the community of Uvalde to help them heal.

Every contribution to the Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund will go directly to victims and survivors in partnership with National Compassion Fund.
