OCONTO, Wis. — A non-Wisconsin resident with monkeypox is reported in Oconto County.
Health officials say the exposure was “isolated” and they have contacted those who were exposed.
Monkeypox does not spread easily from person to person, and based on current information, the risk of widespread transmission to the public is low.
There have been no confirmed cases in Wisconsin at this time.
