GREEN BAY, Wis–A former Green Bay school bus driver accused of drinking while on a field trip with students may have violated the terms of his bond. James Nelson is now charged with bail jumping after allegedly buying alcohol at a liquor store last week.
Nelson’s vehicle was spotted outside the store on July 6th–following a tip that he was frequently shopping there. Nelson was ordered not to enter bars or liquor stores while awaiting trial on one count of O-W-I with a Minor Passenger.
Nelson allegedly drank beer on his bus while in Madison with a student group from Green Bay schools back in April.
