NEENAH, Wis–The Neenah School Board approves the sale of an historic building. The district will accept Northpointe Development’s $500,000 offer for Shattuck Middle School. The building had been on the market for 18-months and received only one offer.
Northpointe’s plans call for converting the 1928 school house on the north end of the site into a 100-unit apartment building, along with a playground and a retention pond. The southern section of the property will be used for single-family homes, duplexes and townhomes.
The school district will retain the tennis courts and parking lot and continue using the health and wellness center, which is operated by Prevea Health.
