MENASHA, Wis. — Another confirmed case of monkeypox is reported in the Fox Valley.
This one involves a Menasha resident, who is currently isolating and working with the Menasha Health Department to identify and notify all close contacts.

Health department officials say while the number of monkeypox cases are on the rise, the risk of contracting the disease is low for the general public. The disease is transmitted through intimate person to person contact.
So far, 12 cases of monkeypox have been reported in Wisconsin. Nationwide, that number stands at 3,591.
