MADISON, WI — Fox Valley school districts are seeing mostly modest increases in state school aids. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instructions releases the 2022-2023 general school aids number for each district. The biggest gainer from the 2021-2022 school year was Neenah, which will receive nearly five-million dollars more in school aid from last year. Fond du Lac, Chilton, Menasha and North Fond du Lac Schools will get increases ranging from one-point-59 percent to three-point-35 percent for the current school year. Appleton, Brillion, Kaukauna and Oshkosh will get increased aid ranging between three-point-85 and four-point-86 percent. The Kimberly Area School district will get nearly 88-thousand dollars in increased state aid or about one-quarter percent above last year. Districts will now adjust their budgets for this year to reflect their shares of state aid. The specific numbers for each district can be found at the following link:
