Georgia Pacific closes Murdock Street plant in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, WI — Georgia Pacific has filed notice with the state of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development that it’s shutting down operations at its Murdock Street facility in Oshkosh. That shutdown takes place effective today and impacts 38 workers. Some employees will remain as part of close down operations. Workers are getting full-pay for 60-days.  GP did not give a reason for the closure.
