TOWN OF SENECA, WI — An 11-year-old boy is killed during a firearms mishap in Green Lake County. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources conservation officers and Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a location in the Township of Seneca around 9:00 Sunday morning. According to the DNR, the boy was in the back seat of a car where a 41-year-old man attempted to unload his firearm. It discharged, striking the boy in the chest. He was airlifted to a hospital where he later died. The 11-year-old victim and the 41-year-old man were members of the same hunting party.
